Privacy

Privacy policy.

This document is currently in draft and pending review by counsel. The substantive terms below are illustrative and will be finalized prior to public engagement.

What we collect

Allied Heir collects information through three channels:

  • Form submissions. When you submit an intake or referral-partner form, we receive the field values you provide (name, contact information, your relationship to the estate, the property address, and any notes). The form itself is hosted by Allied Spot, our CRM provider; the data flows through Allied Spot's systems and is mirrored to us for case work.
  • Server logs. Standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp, referring URL) is logged by our hosting provider for security and operational purposes.
  • Privacy-respecting analytics. We use a privacy-respecting analytics service to understand which pages are visited and how the site is used. No personally identifiable cookies are set.

How we use it

Form submissions are used to evaluate whether a case is one we can take, to contact submitters about their case, and to maintain internal records of inquiries we have processed. We do not use your information for any purpose unrelated to the case you have submitted, and we do not sell or rent any submitted information.

Who we share it with

  • Allied Spot, our CRM provider, hosts the intake forms and stores the resulting records.
  • Attorneys we engage on a case-by-case basis receive the information needed to perform their scope of work.
  • Court systems and county recording offices, where required by law or by the case (filings, recordings, redemption payments).

We do not share submitted information with marketing partners, data brokers, or any party not directly involved in working a case you have submitted.

How long we keep it

In line with typical legal-services retention practice, we keep records related to engagements for seven years after the engagement closes. Records related to inquiries that did not result in an engagement are retained for two years and then deleted.

Your rights

You may request a copy of any information we hold about you, or request that we delete it (subject to record-retention obligations imposed by law). Reach us at [email protected].
