Terms
Terms of use.
This document is currently in draft and pending review by counsel. The substantive terms below are illustrative and will be finalized prior to public engagement.
Allied Heir is not a law firm
Allied Heir is an estate-resolution firm, not a law firm. Nothing on this site, in any document obtained from this site, or in any communication with anyone associated with Allied Heir constitutes legal advice. Where legal services are required by a case, those services are provided by counsel admitted in the relevant jurisdiction, engaged separately under their own retainer.
Engagement is by signed agreement only
No portion of this site, no submitted form, and no preliminary conversation creates an engagement, retainer, attorney-client relationship, or fiduciary duty. Allied Heir takes on case work only after a written engagement agreement is signed by both parties.
Use of this site
You may read, share, and link to material on this site. The text and design are the firm's intellectual property; reproducing substantial portions for commercial purposes requires written permission.
Case evaluation
The intake form at /inquiry is for case evaluation. Submitting the form does not obligate Allied Heir to take a case, and Allied Heir reserves the right to decline any case for any reason. If we cannot take a case, we will say so in writing and there is no fee.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Allied Heir's liability arising from your use of this site is limited to the fees you have paid (if any) under a written engagement agreement.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to anyone with an active engagement.
